Pink & Grey Wedding: Ashlee & Russell | Garden Wedding Venues

You might recognize Ashlee from the photos of Mara & Scott’s Wedding. That’s because she was the good friend that officiated the ceremony. The funny thing is, Ashlee got married at the Edison & Ford Winter Estates first. Back in October of 2010, Ashlee & Russ got married in the Royal Palm Allee.

While Mara’s wedding was as intimate as they come, Ashlee & Russ had a much larger and more traditional (though very modern) approach. With beautiful pink garden roses and grey bridesmaid dresses, there was no doubt that these two had style.

Even though, they were married months ago, the photos and memories of this special day are still fresh (click images to enlarge).

Destination Florida: Amanda & Scott's Wedding | Destination Weddings Venue

Colorado couple, Amanda and Scott, opted for a destination wedding at the Edison & Ford Winter Estates in Fort Myers this past August. With only one bridesmaid, one groomsman, and two guests, the event was as intimate as they come.

In an effort to dodge the afternoon storms that are so prevalent during the Florida summer, the wedding ceremony was held at 11am in the Royal Palm Allee on the Ford Property. Though the wedding was small, the details were almost as beautiful as the bride. After vows were made, rings exchanged, and photos taken, the group of six went out for wedding brunch! Amanda and Scott spent their time in Florida exploring the Everglades and the Florida Keys. Now that’s a destination wedding done right!

: I am always impressed by the beauty and simplicity of the Royal Palm Allee on the Ford Property.

: You can’t have a wedding at the Edison & Ford Winter Estates and miss the opportunity to climb into the Mysore Fig tree!

: The Edison Guest House is a romantic backdrop in this photo. With 14 ft wrap around verandas and spanish moss hanging overhead, it is the epitome of Old Florida Style.

In Fine Feather: Sara & Steven's Peacock Wedding | Southwest Florida Wedding Location

After meeting fashion-forward hair stylist, Sara, I knew right away that her wedding would be fabulous! With bright blues and golds on her wedding color palette and accents with regal peacock feathers, she certainly did not disappoint. Sara and Steven were wed on a beautiful April evening at the Edison & Ford Winter Estates in Fort Myers, Florida. Jesse Netsch Photography captured the details.

: Each guest was given a single peacock feather as a momento. Feather’s doubled as table decor as they were tucked into gold satin napkins at the place settings.

: After the ceremony, the bridesmaids bouquets of roses, hydrangeas, and peacock feathers doubled as reception centerpieces.

: Several centerpieces were comprised of foam balls covered in peacock feathers paired with orchids.

Fort Myers Wedding Location | Simple Elegance: Ashley & Justin's Intimate Wedding

With only their closest friends and family present, Ashley and Justin had the small intimate wedding they dreamed of. They were married in the fall in the Royal Palm Allee at the Edison & Ford Winter Estates in Fort Myers, Florida. The green and white florals were all designed by the bride’s family.

“The wedding was very small and simple, but i still just love looking at the pictures,” says Ashley.

Florida Wedding Venue | Two of a Kind: Ranee and Rene's Wedding

When you meet your soulmate, you expect to have a lot in common. Having a common first name is not on that list of expectations. Though they spell it differently, I couldn’t help but call these two “The Ranees” (or “The Renes” – depending on who you ask).

The wedding took place on a beautiful November afternoon in the Royal Palm Allee on the historic Ford Property at the Edison & Ford Winter Estates in Fort Myers, FL. The tropical turquoise and coral decor really popped against the natural greens and browns of the Estates grounds. The photos below were taken by Meagan Mason Photography.

Winter Wedding: Adelie and Ben

Beneath the twinkling holiday lights and the crisp December air, Adelie and Ben declared their vows. With Ben’s family flying in from England for the occasion, the two decided on a sunset wedding two days before Christmas to be held at the festively decorated Edison & Ford Winter Estates. The palm trees were decked in strings of colored lights, but they did not compare to the radient Adelie as she made her way down the Royal Palm Allee on the Ford Property. Lovebirds: The Wedding of Rachel & Steve

You may recall earlier this year when we posted Rachel & Steve’s Save-the-Dates and Wedding Invitations. The two tied the knot last month, and the photos are in. They are every bit as vibrant as their printed materials promised. The wedding was held on a perfect November afternoon in the Royal Palm Allee on the Historic Ford Property. The details are spectacular – take a look:

: Six groomsmen pose asa symbol of support behind Steve under the largest Banyan Tree in the continental United States.

: Just as The Beatles on the cover of Abbey Road, the groomsmen strolled across McGregor Boulevard. In true John Lennon fashion, the groom took off his shoes.

: Rachel & Steve decided to take all their photos before the ceremony, but they didn’t want to miss that magic moment where they see each other for the first time. So we gave them the opportunity to have that moment alone in the Moonlight Garden at the Edison & Ford Winter Estates.

: The groomsmen donned purple striped ties, and double yellow orchid boutonnieres.

Timeless Wedding at Historic Home: Haley & David

Haley and David made it official this December. Their wedding ceremony took place in the Royal Palm Allee on the historic riverside property of Henry Ford at the Edison & Ford Winter Estates in Fort Myers, Florida. There were so many perfect little details that made this dream wedding a magical one.

: Bridesmaids wore beautiful, long purple gowns – each a little different than the other.

: The groomsmen wore long coats and wide purple ties, reflecting the era of the historic Estates.

: Hydrangea balls on shepherds hooks decked the aisle between the palms in the Royal Palm Allee.

: Roses, lilies, and hydrangeas decorated the ceremony space.

: The flower girl raced the bagpiper down the aisle!

: The brides bouquet of hydrangeas, roses, and calla lilies was adorned with a long string of pearls.

: The couple chose a sand ceremony with purple & black sand to symbolize their union.

Modern Wedding in the Royal Palm Allee: Mandy and Chris

Last month, Mandy & Chris of Fort Myers got married in the Royal Palm Allee on the riverside of the Ford House at the Edison & Ford Winter Estates. Mandy with her five flower girls walked down an aisle of 75′ royal palms. Behind them was an arch of bamboo framing the Caloosahatchee River.
